Born on April 1, 1989, in the richly musical parish of St. Ann, Jamaica, Rickardo Smith, known as Tedhigh Epworth, stands as a powerhouse of reggae and dancehall fusion. His journey began early, taking the stage at just 11 years old and showcasing a voice that would soon captivate audiences far and wide. Competing in Jamaica’s Rising Stars talent show gave Tedhigh national exposure and invaluable experience, igniting his drive to leave an indelible mark on the music industry.

Tedhigh’s path has been marked by collaborations with top-tier producers and influential artists, gaining recognition with cameos in music videos, including one with the iconic Dancehall Queen, Spice. Known for his signature catchphrase, “Immediately,” Tedhigh brings an energy that is distinctly his own—a blend of traditional reggae vibes with the intensity and rhythm of dancehall. Beyond his vocals, Tedhigh’s mastery of multiple instruments demonstrates his dedication and depth as a musician, enabling him to experiment and innovate within his genre.

In 2013, Tedhigh became a pivotal figure in La Familia Movements (LFM), joining the organization at its inception and supporting its mission to uplift communities through music and cultural engagement. His artistry and activism have made him not just a musician, but a voice for change and unity within Jamaica.
